Inspiring Walt Disney Exhibition Catalogue

A complete catalogue to our current exhibition Inspiring Walt Disney: The Animation of French Decorative Arts.

This exhibition showcases American hand drawn animation from 20th century, alongside eighteenth century decorative arts in the French Rococo style which inspired them. Seeing the two types of artwork brought together side by side allows the viewer to observe the intriguing, beautiful connections and intracies between the two. It allows you to experience magic like never before and let your mind wander into fairytales!

This stunning exhibition is a collaboration with the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and uses extraordinary artworks from the Wallace Collection, alongside spectacular pieces from a range of different museums including the Met but also the Huntington Museum.

 

Printed in full colour and containing all of the artworks displayed in the exhibition alongside many others of note, including various images taken directly from the Walt Disney Research Library, this beautiful catalogue features over 100 images and is a perfect accompaniment to our latest exhibition.
