Mungo & Maud Faithful Friend Dog Toy

Mungo & Maud has designed a series of products for the Wallace Collection, one of London’s most treasured national collections. 

Inspired by the ‘Faithful Dog’, this anthology draws a connection to many of the dog paintings featured on the walls of the handsome building which was once the home of Sir Richard Wallace. 

An elegant pallet of colours has been used to reflect the classical and refined taste of the Wallace Collection and the rich tones seen within its portraits. Touches of gold used as accents to imitate gilded frames and inscriptions can be identified within the products. 

Faithful Friend Dog Toy crocheted in cotton, this little bear with a stitched bow detail draws reference to the elegant style of dress of the time and who of course will stay loyal to those creatures who carry him around.
